Peec AI, launched in February 2025, is an AI search analytics platform that runs brand prompts every 24 hours across assistants such as ChatGPT, Gemini and Copilot. It reports visibility, position and sentiment, and separates sources that shaped an answer from sources the answer named.

About Peec AI

Peec AI is a Berlin software company founded by Daniel Drabo, Tobias Siwonia and Marius Meiners, who met in Antler's Winter 2024 cohort. The product launched in February 2025. Pulse 2.0 reported a $21 million Series A led by Singular on 18 November 2025, bringing total funding to $29 million after a July 2025 Seed led by 20VC. Peec's pricing page now claims 3,500+ brands and agencies as customers, a vendor figure HokAI has not verified independently.

Peec works by running each prompt once every 24 hours on the models you pick, and it does so by driving the public web interface of each assistant instead of calling an API. Its docs argue that this matches what a logged-out user sees, including the sources shown, which API answers can differ on. The trade-off is that the numbers describe the anonymous view, not answers shaped by a signed-in user's history. For brand-level share-of-voice reporting that is usually the right frame; for testing one persona's experience it is not.

The dashboard rests on three metrics: visibility (the share of answers that name your brand), position and sentiment. Sources come next. Peec separates content that shaped an answer from URLs the answer named, at domain and URL level, so you can find pages that are used without a brand mention. The September and October 2026 changelog entries add an Actions list ranked by evidence, an in-app editor for existing pages, brand perception views for objections and fact-checking, and AI referral traffic read from Google Analytics. The pricing grid also lists product-level shopping tracking.

On the connection side, Peec's MCP server lets Claude and Cursor query the same data as the dashboard, and the homepage also names n8n as a workflow target. The REST API is limited to Enterprise customers, while the Looker Studio connector starts on the Advanced plan.

Which assistants you can track depends on the plan, and each self-serve plan tracks three. The pricing page names ChatGPT, Google AI Mode, AI Overviews, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini and Naver AI as self-serve models; Perplexity shows up on the add-on list instead.

Among HokAI listings, CiteLens tracks citations from a free-forever plan, Writesonic pairs tracking with an article writer, and Sprinklr LLM Insights is an enterprise add-on. Semrush sits at the other end, a full SEO suite with AI visibility tracking added. Peec leans toward measurement and prioritisation rather than content generation, so a team that mainly needs page rewrites may prefer Clearscope, which is built around content optimization.

For the wider field, HokAI's guide to AI search visibility tools and the CiteLens vs Palmata comparison cover the wider category. Teams filtering by data protection can also find Peec under the GDPR facet of the directory, and MCP-ready tools are grouped under the function-calling facet.

Pricing

Billed monthly: Starter $95, Pro $245, Advanced $495. Every plan has unlimited users and daily tracking, and tracks three models; an extra model adds $30, $70 or $140 a month on Starter, Pro and Advanced respectively. Annual billing takes 15% off according to Peec's FAQ.

Enterprise is custom-priced and annual. A free trial exists, but the pages read do not state its length. ai/pricing on 2026-10-19.

Key Features

  • Daily prompt tracking: Runs each prompt daily on every model you select and charts visibility, position and sentiment against competitors over time.
  • Used versus cited sources: Splits sources into those that influenced a response and those it explicitly linked, at domain and URL level, so uncredited influence shows up.
  • Actions and page editor: Turns the data into a ranked list of site fixes, owned-page edits and earned-media tasks, with an in-app editor where each suggested change can be accepted, edited or reverted.
  • Peec Agent: An in-app agent with 30 built-in skills and 20+ MCP connectors that runs analyses, audits your prompts and builds saved views for your team.
  • AI shopping tracking: Reads a Shopify feed or CSV catalog and reports visibility, position and win rate for individual products, not only the brand.
  • AI referrals and crawl insights: Connects Google Analytics to measure visits from AI assistants, and reads CDN or server logs from providers such as Cloudflare and AWS CloudFront to show which AI bots crawl which pages.
  • MCP server for chat clients: Lets Claude, Cursor, VS Code and Windsurf query the same data as the dashboard; most tools are read-only and write tools prompt for confirmation.

Pros

  • Unlimited users on every plan, so the cost stays flat when a whole SEO and content team joins.
  • Public pricing for three self-serve plans means a team can budget without a sales call.
  • Customer data is hosted in the EU (Google Cloud, Frankfurt as the principal region) and a DPA with a subprocessor list is published, which eases GDPR procurement reviews.
  • G2 shows 4.7 out of 5 from 21 reviews, the largest independent sample found; a small base, since Capterra lists no reviews and Trustpilot lists one.

Cons

  • Each self-serve plan tracks only three models, and extra models are a paid add-on.
  • No permanent free plan: evaluation goes through a trial, and Capterra lists free version as not included.
  • The Customer API is limited to Enterprise customers, so lower-tier teams depend on exports, the Looker Studio connector or MCP.
  • By design it measures the logged-out view of each assistant, so it will not show answers shaped by a user's chat history or settings.
  • No SOC 2 report appears on the pricing, docs or DPA pages HokAI read, only a GDPR DPA; security reviewers should request documentation before a pilot.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Peec AI cost in 2026?

Peec AI's self-serve plans run from $95 to $495 a month: Starter covers 50 prompts, Pro 150 and Advanced 350, with one, two and five projects. Enterprise has no list price. Moving to annual billing saves 15%, and every extra tracked model is charged separately.

Can you use Peec AI without paying?

Not on a permanent basis, because no free plan exists. Peec's site offers a free trial, and Capterra's listing says a trial is available while a free version is not included. The pages HokAI read do not say how many days the trial lasts or whether a card is required, so confirm both at signup before sharing payment details.

Which tools compete with Peec AI in 2026?

CiteLens is the one to try first if you want a free-forever plan before paying; its free tier covers 10 prompts. Writesonic bundles an article writer with its tracking, so it suits teams that also produce content in the same subscription. Sprinklr LLM Insights is sold only as an enterprise add-on inside Sprinklr Insights, which fits companies already on that suite. Semrush wraps AI visibility tracking inside a full SEO suite and offers a Free plan, though its paid SEO plans start above Peec's entry price.

What separates Peec AI from Writesonic?

Writesonic combines its GEO tracking with an AI article writer, and its entry plan costs less than Peec's. Peec concentrates on measurement: it records the answer a logged-out user would see for each prompt every day and ranks follow-up actions by the sources behind them. Choose Writesonic if drafting content is half the job, and Peec if reporting visibility to a team or client is.

How long does it take to get going with Peec AI?

Peec says first visibility scores appear within a few minutes, broken down per engine, once you enter your brand name and domain at app.peec.ai and accept or edit the prompts it suggests from real customer search intent. After that, add competitors, tag prompts by persona or funnel stage, pick your three models, and connect Claude or Cursor through MCP if you want to query the data in chat.

Top Alternatives

  • CiteLens: Pick CiteLens when a free-forever plan to test citation tracking matters first; pick Peec AI when daily tracking at 50 prompts or more with unlimited users does.
  • Writesonic: Pick Writesonic when the same subscription should include an AI article writer; pick Peec AI if measurement and a ranked actions list matter more than content generation.
  • Sprinklr LLM Insights: Pick Sprinklr LLM Insights if you already run Sprinklr Insights and buy through its enterprise sales process; pick Peec AI for a standalone plan with public self-serve pricing.
  • Clearscope: Pick Clearscope if the job is optimizing pages against tracked queries; pick Peec AI if the job is measuring what AI assistants say about your brand.
  • Semrush: Pick Semrush when keyword, backlink and rank-tracking data must sit beside AI visibility; pick Peec AI when AI answer tracking is the whole brief.
