Fyxer is an AI email and meeting assistant for Gmail and Outlook that the vendor says has organized 350,000 inboxes. It labels incoming mail, writes draft replies in the user's tone, takes notes on Zoom, Google Meet and Teams calls, and tracks follow-ups across both, leaving the final send to the user.
About Fyxer
Fyxer is a London company founded in 2024 by brothers Richard and Archie Hollingsworth with technical co-founder Matt Ffrench. The founders first built an executive assistant business, and the company says Fyxer is trained on 500,000 hours of executive assistant workflow data. It has raised a $10M Series A and then a $30M Series B led by Madrona and Lakestar.
Fyxer sits on top of a Gmail or Outlook account instead of replacing it. New mail is sorted into labels, and for messages that need an answer it writes a draft in your tone that waits in your Drafts folder. The notetaker attends scheduled video calls, and it can also record in-person meetings. Each call ends with written notes and a ready email for the next step, and its follow-up list pulls promises out of both email and calls. Fyxer Chat lets you ask questions across your mail, transcripts and uploaded files, and it also takes voice questions.
The product is aimed at people who lose the most time to external email: salespeople, recruiters and real estate agents, plus founders and consultants. On HokAI it sits in the Agents & Automation group alongside Lindy and Motion, but its scope is narrower than either: the inbox, the calendar and the calls around them. Security-minded buyers can compare it with other tools on the SOC 2, HIPAA and GDPR compliance lists.
Choosing an email tool mostly comes down to whether you want a layer or a replacement. Shortwave, a Gmail-based client, sits at one end, while SaneBox concentrates on sorting and Superhuman Suite bundles mail with writing tools, while Fathom and Granola handle meetings only. Fyxer combines inbox handling and call notes in one subscription, which the meeting-only tools do not, and Outlook users usually weigh Microsoft Copilot as well. If you are unsure which fits your setup, the Smart Match advisor can narrow the choice.
Recent releases show the direction. Fyxer added an app inside Claude on 16 June 2026, chat from Slack and Microsoft Teams on 28 August 2026, and reply-by-email chat through ai@fyxer.com on 7 September 2026, while pricing moved to a credits model across Free, Pro, Team and Enterprise plans.
Pricing
A Free plan is available. Pro is $37 per person a month billed annually and Team is $64, with month-to-month rates of $49 and $99; Enterprise is quoted on an annual contract. Paid plans get unlimited credits for 3 months, then 3,000 (Pro) or 6,000 pooled (Team) credits a month.

Key Features
- Inbox sorting: Labels each incoming email with categories such as To respond, FYI and Marketing, and moves the ones you choose into folders so the inbox shows only what needs you.
- Drafts in your voice: Writes reply drafts into your Drafts folder from patterns in your past mail, and cannot send them, so every message waits for your click.
- Meeting notetaker: Joins Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams calls and produces a summary, action items and a follow-up email draft, with video recording from Pro upward.
- Follow-up list: Collects commitments found in email and meetings, such as a contract you promised after a call, into one list that Team plans share with assigned owners.
- Fyxer Chat: Answers plain-language questions across your inbox, meeting transcripts and uploaded PDF, CSV and Word files, accepts voice notes and can search the web.
- Spaces and Flows: Spaces group notes and context per client or project, with 3 shared Spaces per seat on Pro, and Flows run automated routines.
- Connectors: Works from Slack and Microsoft Teams, from inside Claude, and by emailing ai@fyxer.com; MCP access for your own tools is listed on Team and Enterprise.
- Enterprise controls: Adds single sign-on, SCIM provisioning, audit logs, retention rules and a choice of EU, UK or US data region, plus private cloud or single tenancy.
Pros
- Works inside the Gmail or Outlook inbox you already use, so nobody has to learn a new client, which is the main adoption difference from full replacements such as Shortwave.
- Covers email and meeting notes in one subscription, where a notetaker such as Fathom or Granola only handles calls.
- Names its security attestations on a public trust center (SOC 2, ISO 27001:2022, GDPR and HIPAA) and states that customer email is not used to train third-party models.
- Viewers are free: colleagues can read shared notes and Spaces without taking a paid seat.
Cons
- Credits meter the heavy features: a chat message costs 20 credits, recording costs 1 credit a minute and sorting costs 0.2 credits an email, and the vendor says sorting pauses first when the allowance runs out.
- Unlimited credits apply to the first 3 months only, so heavy trial use understates the limits you will hit later.
- Only Gmail and Outlook accounts are listed; other mail providers are not mentioned on the pricing, security or product pages.
- Pro costs more per seat than the annual plans of Shortwave and SaneBox on their HokAI records, and those tools cover a narrower job.
Data Handling
- Training-data policy
- Customer data is not used to train third-party models, and users can opt out of Fyxer's own model training.
- Compliance
- SOC 2 · ISO 27001:2022 · GDPR · HIPAA (Enterprise terms) · CASA Tier 2
Frequently Asked Questions
How much do you pay for Fyxer?
Pro costs $37 per person per month billed annually or $49 month to month, and Team costs $64 annually or $99 monthly; Team adds shared follow-up owners, an organization profile and team reporting. Enterprise is an annual contract quoted by sales, and teams of 10 or more are asked to request a volume quote. A seat is one paid member however many inboxes they connect, and viewers who only read shared notes cost nothing. Paid plans include unlimited credits for the first 3 months, then 3,000 credits a month per Pro member or 6,000 pooled per Team member.
Is Fyxer free to use?
The Free plan gives 400 credits a month, which the vendor equates to about 20 chat messages or 6 hours 40 minutes of meeting recording. It records audio only, sends a weekly email briefing and a daily dashboard briefing, and allows 3 personal Spaces. It does not sort your inbox or draft replies, because those start on Pro. New accounts get a 14-day trial first and then drop to Free unless you pay, and the pricing page says the trial runs on Team in one place and Pro in another.
Which tools compete with Fyxer in 2026?
Shortwave suits you if you would rather switch to an AI email client built on Gmail than add a layer to your current inbox. SaneBox fits someone who only wants sorting and folder rules at a lower entry price. Fathom or Granola cover meeting notes without touching your email, and Superhuman Suite bundles a mail client with writing help.
Is Fyxer better than Shortwave?
Fyxer works inside the Gmail or Outlook account you already have and adds meeting notes and a follow-up list, while Shortwave is its own client built around Gmail. Shortwave's annual Business seat is priced lower than Fyxer Pro on HokAI's records. Pick Fyxer if you use Outlook or sit in many calls, and Shortwave if Gmail is your only inbox and you want AI search inside one client.
How long does it take to get going with Fyxer?
Setup takes about 30 seconds, the vendor says, once you connect a Gmail or Outlook account with a work email for the 14-day trial. Fyxer then learns your writing from past mail, so the vendor says drafts improve the more you use it, and you choose whether it joins all meetings, only external ones, only ones you host, or none. Deleting your account returns the inbox to how it was before, and plan changes live under Admin settings, then Billing, in the dashboard.
