Musely is a browser-based AI studio whose selectors list 12 video models from Kling, Seedance, Hailuo and Wan, and 7 image models from Google, ByteDance and OpenAI, beside a music generator that returns 2 tracks per run. All three media draw on one credit balance. The site does not name the model behind its songs.

About Musely

Musely (musely.io) is a browser studio that puts music, video and image generation behind one login and one credit balance. Its terms and privacy policy name the operator only as Musely.io, and HokAI found no founding year, team or funding on the site, so those fields stay blank. It is not the skincare company at musely.com or the separate musely.ai site, both of which turn up in the same searches.

The music section turns a written prompt or finished lyrics into songs, with an instrumental switch and a choice of male, female or random vocals, and sits beside a stem splitter, a vocal remover and an audio-to-MIDI tool. The video section is a selector over third-party models, including Kling 3.0, Seedance 2.5 and MiniMax H3, for text, image and video-to-video clips. The image section does the same with models from Google, ByteDance and OpenAI, including GPT Image 2, and adds cover art and editing tools. The video and image engines belong to other companies, and the pages HokAI read do not say which model writes the songs.

That makes it a convenience bundle for people who dip into all three media: a video editor who needs a background cue and a thumbnail, a podcast producer drafting an intro theme, a small brand turning one product photo into a short clip. If music is the whole job, start the comparison with Suno, then look at the music-first rival Udio. For video-first work, Higgsfield sells access to much of the same model family, while the Kling AI app serves Kling directly. The wider field is mapped in the content creation category, in the guide to the best AI song generators and in the guide to creating images and videos with AI.

Credit use is where the real decision sits. Each panel shows the credit charge before you press create, and the cost per clip varies by model far more than the plan page's headline estimates suggest, so work out your usual model before choosing a tier. Image-first buyers can also weigh Krea or Freepik, both credit-based hubs, and the video generator and image generator category pages list the rest. Free-plan limits, the deletion window and the refund terms are in the FAQ below.

Key Features

  • Text to music: Turns a prompt of up to 3,000 characters into 2 tracks per run for 4 credits, with an instrumental switch and male, female or random vocal direction.
  • Lyrics to song: A separate flow for words you have already written, so a finished lyric sheet becomes a full track instead of a style description.
  • Stems, vocals and MIDI: Splits a song into up to 12 stems, removes vocals for karaoke or instrumental versions, and transcribes audio into a MIDI file.
  • Multi-model video: Picks from 12 video models across Kling, Seedance, Hailuo and Wan for text, image and video-to-video clips of 5 or 10 seconds in 16:9, 9:16 or 1:1.
  • Multi-model images: Picks from 7 image models by Google, ByteDance and OpenAI, with 1K to 4K output on the Nano Banana Pro panel, plus an album cover generator and a canvas editor.
  • Prompt reverse-engineering: Video to Prompt and Image to Prompt rebuild a reusable generation prompt from an existing clip or picture.

Pros

  • One credit balance pays for songs, clips and stills, so a mixed project does not need three separate subscriptions.
  • Each panel states the credit charge before you generate, for example 6 credits for one Nano Banana Pro image, which makes spend easy to predict.
  • Credit packs permanently enable WAV and commercial-license downloads, a pay-as-you-go route for occasional users who do not want a subscription.
  • Per the pricing FAQ, commercial rights on works made during a paid subscription stay with you after you cancel.

Cons

  • The site never names the model behind its music generator, so song quality cannot be judged against a named engine before paying. Its Suno-alternative page claims better audio than Suno without publishing a test, and HokAI has not run a head-to-head.
  • The pricing page opens on yearly billing, so the first price a visitor sees is the discounted per-month figure, not what a month-to-month subscriber pays.
  • Video credit costs rise fast on newer models: Seedance 2.5 starts at 105 credits a clip against 15 for MiniMax H3, so the lowest paid plan covers at most four Seedance 2.5 clips.
  • The video page's What's New strip still names Sora 2, Veo3 and Kling 2.1, none of which appear in the model list, so confirm a model is in the selector before planning around it.
  • The pricing page lists no team seats, admin controls or API access, which limits agency and studio use.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much do you pay for Musely?

On monthly billing, Basic is $19.9 for 500 credits, Pro is $39.9 for 1,200 and Max is $169.9 for 6,000. Yearly billing, which the pricing page selects by default, shows $14.9, $29.9 and $129.8 a month, charged as $178.8, $358.8 and $1,557.6 up front. Credit packs skip the subscription: $5 buys 100 credits ($3.9 on a first purchase), $19.9 buys 400 and $49.9 buys 1,000, and purchased credits never expire.

Is Musely free to use?

Only as a trial. A new account gets 10 credits once and they never refresh, which covers two music runs at 4 credits each with 2 credits left for a cheap image. Free output is personal use only and is deleted automatically after 7 days, so download anything you want to keep.

What should you use instead of Musely?

For songs alone, pick [Suno](/hub/tools/suno) if you want a daily free credit allowance, or [Udio](/hub/tools/udio) if you would rather pay for a single music-first product. For video, [Kling AI](/hub/tools/kling) has its own free credits that refresh every day, and [Higgsfield](/hub/tools/higgsfield) lists Seedance and Kling models in a similar multi-model setup.

Is Musely better than Suno?

Not on price per song, going by the listed figures: Musely's lowest paid plan lists about 250 songs a month, while HokAI's Suno record (last reviewed 23 Aug 2026) lists about 500 on Pro at roughly half the monthly price, so Suno works out near a quarter of the cost per song. Musely makes sense when the same credits must also pay for video and image work. Its own Suno-alternative page says its audio is better but publishes no test, so treat that as a claim.

How long does it take to get going with Musely?

Sign-up uses a Google, Facebook or email login and the free plan needs no card. The model pages list about 10 to 40 seconds for an image and about 1 to 2 minutes for a video clip, depending on the model. Paid plans can be refunded within 3 calendar days only if no more than 4 credits were used, so test with the free credits first.

Top Alternatives

  • Suno: Pick Suno if songs are the only job and cost per song matters; pick Musely when video and image work must draw on the same credits.
  • Udio: Pick Udio for a music-first product with nothing else in the plan; pick Musely when songs, clips and stills share one balance.
  • Higgsfield: Pick Higgsfield when video direction tools lead the brief; pick Musely when songs and stems must sit in the same credit plan as the clips.
  • Kling AI: Pick Kling AI to use Kling models with a daily free allowance; pick Musely to switch between Kling, Seedance and Hailuo from one account.
