Using Advanced Filters
The directory's filter panel lets you combine multiple signals to find exactly what you're looking for. Here's what each filter does.
Filter Types
Category — What the tool is used for. Coding, Marketing, Writing, Sales, Support, Design, Research, Product, and more. Select multiple categories to see tools that fit any of them.
Pricing — Free, Freemium, or Paid. Free means no cost at all. Freemium has a free tier with paid upgrades. Paid means you need a subscription or pay per use.
Architecture — How the tool is built. Foundation Model (the underlying AI), AI Agent (takes actions autonomously), or Workflow Platform (connects AI to other apps).
Capabilities — API Available (you can integrate it programmatically) or Open Source (weights or code are publicly available).
Compliance — SOC 2, EU AI Act compliant. Useful for enterprise teams or regulated industries.
Combining Filters
Filters across different sections work with AND logic. If you select Coding (category), Free (pricing), and API Available (capability), you get tools that are in the Coding category AND free AND have an API.
Within a single section, multiple selections work with OR. Selecting both Coding and Marketing shows tools in either category.
Search + Filters
The search bar works on top of your filters. Type a name or keyword first to narrow the list, then add filters to refine further.
Filter sections are collapsible. Category and Pricing are open by default. Click any section header to expand or collapse it.
