Privacy & Data Handling
HokAI doesn't sell your data. Here's a clear picture of what we collect and what we do with it.
What We Collect
Account info — Display name, email, and password (hashed). Used for authentication and account management.
Profile data — Job title, industry, budget range, technical level. All optional. Used to personalize Smart Match results.
Smart Match sessions — Your conversation with Hok, the resulting Strategy Brief, and your recommended stack. Stored to support session history and future features. We don't use your sessions to train external AI models.
Usage data — How you navigate and use the platform. Used to fix issues and improve the product.
What We Don't Do
- Sell your data — We don't sell user data to third parties
- Share for advertising — We don't share personal data with advertisers
- Train external AI on your conversations — Your Smart Match sessions stay within HokAI
Data Practices
Data is encrypted in transit. We use industry-standard storage practices and work with providers that meet our security requirements.

Export and Delete
You can export your data or delete your account from Settings under the Data & Privacy tab. Exporting gives you a downloadable copy of your data. Deleting removes your account and associated data.
